About our Team

  • Tucker B.

    OWNER

Tucker has collected cards for many years, usually purchasing unopened packs from local shops and big box stores and sending them off to be graded. Every now and then he’d sell a few on eBay, and (since 2004) has held a 100% positive feedback rating from the over 1000 items sold. Over the years the collection began to grow..and so did his passion for this wonderful hobby. Trading cards are meant to be bought, sold..traded (it’s in the name), and “I have traded with folks from across the globe making connections and meeting many awesome people along the way!”

  • Sydney J.

    SHIPPING & SALES

Sydney didn’t quite grow up in the card world, but she has recently been taken back by the amazing colors and designs that have drug us out of the late 80’s/early 90’s card slump. The parallels, variants, refractors, inserts, promo cards and impressive holographics/holofoils are some of her favorites. While she helps on the shipping/receiving side of the business, she said “I’ve always had a soft spot for those electric Pikachu’s!”

  • Wyatt J.

    LEAD BUYER & PROCUREMENT

Wyatt has been collecting cards from a young age, and enjoys cracking open a box of 2001 Golf just as much as he does a modern box of NFL cards off a shelf. He’s active on Facebook Marketplace, stays busy searching eBay’s listings, and always keeping an eye out for the next big launch of a product. He said he prefers the rare, but incredibly cool, memorabilia/relic/patch trading cards. Usually embedded in the card itself, these cards really stand out when there’s a crazy amount of colorful parallels of the same card these days. “But personally, I love the patch cards. Some of the best-looking and more-valuable cards in my collection are those game-used relics!”

Who We Are

We are a team of collectors, traders, buyers and sellers that enjoy opening wax/packs, sorting them and sending the good ones in for grading.  Nearly 100% of the items on the storefront we have personally opened ourselves.

Why We Do it

So, why do we prefer slabs?  For an easy answer: they look great on a bookshelf, and the graded slab protects the card (long-term) much better than what an individual can do on their own.  For high-dollar cards (typically not base/commons), a slab provides more legitimacy and resale value for sellers and buyers alike.  We always believed that it’s nice to know what level of quality our cards are, regardless of whether any of us wanted to sell them in the future.

While many cards do not require a plastic slab, many collectors prefer a protected item over an uncreased card which can vary-easily become destroyed or damaged due to poor handling.  For the most part, you know your submission and what you likely expect the card to be graded.  If you’re looking at MINT 9 or GEM MT 10 cards, that piece is now protected for years and there’s some great benefits with graded cards.

For the buyer, the graded slab validates both the cards’ state and authenticity.  It not only verifies the quality of the card, but also increases its’ value.  In doing so, this can lead to an opportunity to potentially highlight some of your favorite “art.”  It not only becomes a graded card, but also becomes a relic (on its’ own) of sorts.  It’s about transcending a simple piece of cardboard into a permanent piece of art.  With the way that many older cards are being treated (base set Pokémon for example), these cards are seen more as collector “art pieces” now more than mere “trading cards.”  Although prices have followed that trend too, our team wants to make sure that you’re getting a well-protected, fairly-graded investment for the long term!

About our Inventory

PSA is our preferred grading partner for our personal and online inventory. Their pricing, turn-around times, customer service and personal engagement to our store set them apart from the other grading companies we have tried to work with in the past.

About our Services

As we, too, are collectors- we understand what buyers look for with every purchase. Each item is shipped with a goal of 1-3 business day arrival, but Friday purchases are likely to ship on the following Monday.

About our Capabilities

We are not a large company, or broker that employees a sizable staff. We are setup to keep transactions as simple as possible. Complicated transactions, especially concerning payments, we are just not set up for. We hope you understand and we appreciate your business!
