FAQs:

  • We prefer “slabbed” or “graded” cards because they not only protect the buyer- but they also protect the seller. How many times have you purchased a “near mint” card online to find it creased, beat-up, played, or used more than it originally appeared? You had hoped to score a MINT 9, but instead you barely have a chance of getting a NM 7? “Uncreased” cards look great, but rarely turn out to be so.. Similarly, we have seen numerous packs that were damaged in shipping, new boxes with holes in them and the like..

At Beyond the Game, there are no hidden tricks, there’s little risk of damage from shipping, and each card has been inventoried and protected for its’ future. We take the headache (and the cost of grading) out of the equation. By doing so, you may purchase with confidence that you’re getting the same card, in the exact photo, every single time!

  • Please carefully review your order before confirming your purchase. All sales are considered final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for any products, memorabilia or trading cards.

  • While we don’t have a physical storefront, everyone on our team comes from Central Kentucky. Due to our centralized location in the United States, it should typically take around 1-3 business days for us to get a card anywhere in the Lower 48. We do not have a retail store with showcases at this time. We are strictly an internet store; and therefore display and sell all of our items on Ebay.

  • Once a card is received from grading, we double-check its’ grade and population report via the graders' website. We then photograph and internally inventory that card. Each is stored in another plastic sleeve (to avoid scratching the slab) and then boxed away out of sunlight. Cards are kept in a climate-controlled safe room, and of course, they are insured for protection from fire, theft ect.

  • Our business, originally known as Kentucky Certified Slabs, was established in early 2023. However, our BTG team members have been collecting trading cards for over 20 years.
