This card was included in the Jungle expansion as both a Holofoil and Non Holofoil card, first released in the Japanese Pokemon Jungle expansion as only a Holofoil card. The Holofoil print of this card was later reprinted in the Base Set 2 expansion. A special reprint was included in the Platinum Expansion with the same artwork by Ken Sugimori. This print modified some of the card text to bring it in line with modern card wording whilst still allowing it to retain its original effects.
Scyther slashes through grass with its sharp scythes, moving too fast for the human eye to track.

This Kagemaru Himeno illustrated card was included in the Jungle expansion as both a Holofoil and Non Holofoil card, first released in the Japanese Pokemon Jungle expansion as only a Holofoil card. A Holofoil print of this card was later reprinted in the Legendary Collection expansion. Early prints of the Unlimited Holofoil version of this card were printed without the Jungle set symbol. This error was corrected later in the print run.
Inhaled air is carried to Flareon’s flame sac, heated, and exhaled as fire that reaches over 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit.

Butterfree was included in the Jungle expansion, first released in the Japanese Pokemon Jungle expansion. It was later reprinted in the Base Set 2 and Legendary Collection TCG expansions. Illustrated by Kagemaru Himeno, early prints of the 1st Edition Jungle version of this card were printed with a symbol that appeared to look like "Edition d" instead of "Edition 1" due to the presence of an ink bubble during printing.
This card is an incredibly-rare example of the “d Edition error” from 1999. Butterfree loves the nectar of flowers, and can locate flower patches that have even tiny amounts of pollen.

Illustrated by Keiji Kinebuchi, Gloom evolves from Oddish at level 21 and evolves into either Vileplume when exposed to a Leaf Stone or Bellossom when exposed to a Sun Stone. The fluid that oozes from its mouth isn’t drool. It is a nectar that is used to attract prey.

Mankey was included in the Jungle expansion with artwork by Kagemaru Himeno, first released in the Japanese Pokémon Jungle expansion. In Japan, it was reprinted as an Unnumbered Promotional card with different artwork (still by Himeno) and was included with the first volume of the manga series, “How I Became a Pokemon Card” released on May 22nd, 1999.
This print has a color graphic of an open book with a trading card in place of an expansion symbol. Mankey lives in groups in the treetops. If it loses sight of its group, it becomes infuriated by its loneliness.

A dual-type grass and poison pokemon, Oddish was introduced in Generation I. Evolving into Gloom starting at level 21, it transforms to either Vileplume (when exposed to a Leaf Stone) or Bellowssom (when exposed to a Sun Stone). Illustrated by Keiji Kinebuci, its’ scientific name is Oddium wanderus, and it is said to cover distances as far as 1,000 feet when night falls, walking on its’ two roots.
